A Child's Perspective

My friend Joshua, 6, was reading a bedtime story with his dad the other night. Suddenly, out of the blue, he asked "Daddy, why do those people keep trying to kill Jesus every Easter?"

Daddy was laughing so hard he had to leave the room to tell Mommy what was so funny.

For those who don't get the humor: Joshua thinks Easter is a recurring event in the present, not a past event.

I wonder what he thinks about Christmas?!
